On September 25th, the Regional Council of the Drenthe Labor Market Region adopted the multi-year agenda for the next five years. This agenda sets out the ambition for the AMRD to be the primary point of contact for all labor market issues in the region within five years, actively engaging with the needs of employers and employees. Together, the partners will ensure a labor market that works for everyone.
This ambition is supported by formulating quantitative policy goals along the economic, social, and educational lines. We are committed to a strong, resilient Drenthe economy as a foundation for broad prosperity, with stable employment, productivity, innovation, and collaboration at the core. We also strive for an inclusive labor market in which talent development, positive health, and personal autonomy are paramount. Education is the key to a flexible and future-proof labor market, with a strong learning culture and lifelong learning (LLO) for everyone.
