Vacancy: Project Manager at Brabant Water

Brabant Water is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Extraction Masterplan Program. This program encompasses projects involving the construction, expansion, or renovation of water production sites, ranging from extraction sites to complete water production facilities. With over 500 extraction wells and hundreds of monitoring wells under management, we strive to ensure our extraction sites are future-proof. Within the Extraction Masterplan, over 120 extraction wells, including extraction well cellars, are being newly drilled and/or renovated. In addition, the entire extraction site of various water production sites is being examined, including the extraction buildings, raw water pipelines, pathways, electrical systems, and industrial automation.

What are you going to do?

As a Project Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our Masterplan Winning project. You’ll manage projects from start to finish, ensuring everything is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality. You’ll work on challenging projects that integrate various disciplines, such as mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, and automation.

  • You prepare project plans and schedules and monitor progress and budgets.
  • You manage the realization of projects up to and including delivery.
  • You coordinate permit applications, research and documentation.
  • You are responsible for projects with a budget of €3 million or more.
  • You work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will mainly work at our office in Breda, but you will also regularly travel to projects throughout Brabant.

The requirements

  1. At least 5 years of experience in leading multidisciplinary technical projects
  2. Demonstrable experience with projects that combine WTB, Civil, Electrical & Automation
  3. Experience with projects in the water sector is an advantage
  4. Strong organizational and communication skills
  5. A proactive and results-oriented attitude.
