Overview

At KPN, communication and interaction are essential. Our Communications Advisors are responsible for both internal and external communication, including interactions with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Within the Human Resources (HR) department, communication is also a key part of our daily operations. We communicate on a wide range of topics, including employment conditions, training, and our corporate culture, with the goal of offering our colleagues at KPN a unique experience.

Your Team

You’ll be part of a team of four experienced communications professionals within our HR department. This team has extensive experience in both internal and external communications and works closely with other (communications) departments, our HR User Experience department, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

We’re temporarily expanding our team due to an increase in projects. As a member of this team, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Communicating the vision and approach to (internal) communication from HR;
  • Act as a point of contact and be responsible for the communication strategy and implementation towards the various target groups within KPN on your specific topics;
  • Contribute to the positioning of KPN as an employer, both towards internal and external target groups;
  • Gaining insight into the planning and effectiveness of communication initiatives;
  • Optimize communication resources and tools together with your team where necessary.

The requirements

  1. – HBO/WO work and thinking level
  2. – Minimum 5 years of experience as an (internal) communications advisor
  3. – Experience with internal or HR communication (strategies) in complex organizations;
  4. Knowledge of and experience with the latest communication methods and techniques (including the possibilities of AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT)
  5. – You are a thinker, but certainly also a doer;
  6. – You work in a structured manner and know how to translate complex matters into concrete plans.
  7. – And you also know how to implement these concrete plans
  8. – You can also easily switch between different stakeholders within the organization
  9. – Creative, smooth and strategic pen.
